I am on antidepressants and still I have major PMS. I could be a one man war machine with no feelings. It's really bad. My husband is like, "Oh, my God. It's back!" It's awful. I have electrical headaches. My eyes droop. Severe abdominal pains and back aches. I make major decisions of cutting off relationships. My mind is on confrontations missions. The whole week before the period is Hell on Earth -Headaches, swelling, rage, etc. If I were born in the 1800's, I would have been locked up for sure. During the period, it feels like I have had surgery the pain is so bad. I guess it's time for the ole check up. Darn, I hate this hormone thing.

Shadow, I don't really know what causes PMS like that, but I've had it pretty bad too. Try to take it easy on yourself. I hope you feel better.

Hi Shadowsplayer
I can relate that is all I can say. My hubby says he wants to hide from me during that time of the month. What is even worse is I am on Duragesic (a pain patch) which helps for my arthritis, low back pain, etc...but that does nothing for my PMS related pain at all, and neither do my other meds. Good luck

I am right there with you now... I am a anxious mess. And full of rage, wanted to tell my wonderful boyfriend that he is stupid, unattractive ect...like a living hell. I am so ready to get it over with! My p-doc gave me Klodopin for the few days before my period, I have yet to take one... I know they are supposed to help so you might want to try that out. I am trying to get of of lexapro now...uhhhh PMS blows...
