i have had a series of horrible infections and dont know how to treat them..they are growing with a thick skin under the tip of the nail and coming detatched from the cuticle with swelling and disfigured shape...wont heal..its been months!!! any suggestions? thanks!

Most likely a fungus infection you need to see a doctor for meds they take months to years seriously to clear up completly I've had them. Love Phillipa

Hi MeAgain,
I agree with Phillipa it sounds like you might have a fungal infection. My mother get them under her toenails and her nails get real thick and turn yellow. She gets meds and an ointment from her podiatrist.
