Does protein stimulate bile secretion?

I know fat does, but I wonder if protein does also. For example, would a meal high in protein but with virtually no fat stimulate bile secretion? Thanks.

Don't know the answer to your question but I was told by my nutritional dr that acids taken on an empty stomach before meals stimulated the flow of bile acids.

That might be some cider vinegar, lemon juice or a little ascorbic acid with water before a meal.
