Hi all,
As I'm sure you can tell, I'm new here. I've actually been browsing the boards for some months now, debating whether I should register, and decided to go ahead and do it today.
I'm 16 years old and from Canada. I just graduated from high school, and haven't yet decided whether that's a good thing. Earlier this year I started seeing a new psychiatrist and was diagnosed with SAD. I see him weekly unless other circumstances come up (which happens a lot), though I'm not on any medication right now and won't be until the fall.
That's about all I can think to mention right now. I'm looking forward to participating here and getting to know some people.

Welcome to Babble-land. Feel free to jump in whenever you like. This place is a great source for support and advice. It's so good not to feel alone.
ps. I graduated from a high school in Canada (gulp!) 24 years ago. I was pretty ambivilent about it then, too.
Good luck, and welcome again.

Thanks for the welcome. Looks like I'll be sticking around - this is definitely a great place. Do you still live in Canada?

Hi, and thanks. I'm from Quebec, which gets interesting because my French skills are terrible.

Nahhh... believe it or not, this year I *officially* have lived longer outside of Canada than in. I'm stateside but also lived in the UK for 7 years. I must have a maple leaf tattooed on my heart. I'm even old enough to remember 1967 Expo in Montreal. Ancient.

Hi, kk, it's nice to meet you too! Yep, I've been wandering out and posting a bit - hopefully will do so more, though I rarely have anything to say. (And because summer usually involves sleeping in, which kills my brain DEAD, I may not for a while.) Except, of course, when I do have a lot to say, in which case I tend to ramble... it's scary, so good thing it doesn't happen too often, I think.

Hi! Thanks for the advice to search here for info on light therapy... I'd been looking for some since my pdoc suggested it might work better for me than meds, but for some reason hadn't thought of doing a search.
This is the end of the thread.
