hallelujah - I've just discovered after 30 odd years that I'm not lazy, inadequate, shallow, mad, stupid or insane (and that's just some of the things I've called myself - other people's lists are far, far longer!)...... I have cyclothymia. Wow, the power of a name! I was reading through some of the posts in that section of the forum, and can really relate to some of the points raised - I used to mourne the loss of creativity when the mood swings levelled out, and the noisy head thing....thank goodness that doesn't happen very often. Glad to meet you all - I'll do my best to be supportive, and believe me, I'll be happy to receive any that's going! Good luck everyone.

Welcome. I think everybody is busy this weekend, but I wanted to say hi! I don't actually know what cyclothymia is, but I'll look it up in the morning. I certainly recognize some of those descriptions.
