I've been reading all the posts regarding Effexor's withdrawal effects. I'm definitely right there with you all. I've been on this drug for about 3 years. Dropped to 75 mg over the last year, and then 37.5 for the past 2 weeks. Stopped completely 3 days ago and am extremely dizzy and feverish. Every time I turn my head I go spinning. So far I've read Prozac, or Adivan as options to help wean off the drug. Has anyone come up with other solutions? I need to function as a human being again.
Thank you.

Hi & Welcome
Try posting your question on Withdrawal board or Psycho babble if you don't get much joy here. Sorry no practical help here except my doc put me on an anti-emitic to stop me being dizzy and falling over when I was coming off Seroxat

Did you make it over to the withdrawal board? I think I saw your name over there. It's been too long since I got off of effexor. I'm amazed that some of you can know your bodies and minds so well. By the time I'm ready to quit a med, I'm so miserable and unhappy and sick that I just stay drunk. Well that was certainly cheery.
Anyway Hello again,
