It's not a "self-help" book, but I really like Sophie Burnham's 'A Book of Angels'. It's not just testimonies of people seeing angels. It is also a fascinating history on "angelology", which civilizations believed in angels, how the angels got their names, the contributions of Milton(Paradise Lost) and Dante(inferno) to the beliefs about angels. And much more right up thru the middle ages to the present. If you're interested in the history of religion, as I am, you will especially enjoy this book.
Boy this sounds just like a highschool book report doesn't it? I wonder what grade it would make? Ha ha ha, CarolAnn
