What to do

I'm in the Pit... suicidal ideation abounds but not at the place where I'll take action yet. Seeing drug related pdoc tomorrow - don't talk to him very much... haven't seen regular pdoc for a couple of weeks. This feels like it's the same old shit and I should have the tools to manage it but for some reason can't grasp them hard enough to shake this mood. Do I call regular pdoc?

You didn't say when your next scheduled appointment is with your regular pdoc. I would definitely talk to your meds guy about what's going on - maybe there is a drug change that will make a difference. However I also think it's important that you keep your regular pdoc informed - I find it's awfully difficult to use those coping skills when things seem really bad, and I'm sure your regular doc probably feels that earlier intervention might be more effective than waiting.

Call your regular pdoc. This is what they're there for.

Please keep holding on. This won't last forever (although I know it doesn't feel that way right now). And please contact all your support team.

meds are not working for me.

and started to drink heavily again.
