Open book, yet. I'm blaming that I need prescription reading glasses and not the cheap drug store one I have, but come on, open book! the answers are all there.
I hate grades.

I think I need some of these "old women glasses that I said I would never buy unless i was 80". LOL
I am also struggling with my B I got on my exam, last week, especially since I thought I did better. I still haven't seen the test, but it kinda has me freaked out because I want A's not B's. I am like if I get B's then why not just get C's? I hate B's, the inbetween grade, not good enough to be excellent, but better than average? I hate grades.
My T says that 86% is still good, blah blah blah. He knew I was thinking this, LOL He said it is all about what you are learning that a B- in a hard class is just as good as an A in a hard class. Ya right! Blah Blah, Blah.... but I wanted an A!!!! Sorry for my rant, just had to get it all out!

Hi Happyflower,
My T tried to convince me that a B is still good, too. It's good, but not good enough for me!
I hate grades, too. I got my last certificate at a college that hasn't had grades since 1972. What a wonderful concept. Everything is ability based. You have to do lots of nerve wracking presentations, but if you did your best it is acknowledged. If it's obvious you just threw your stuff together and didn't care, you don't pass. The certificate program I'm in now isn't offered there or I'd go running back. Even if I used to get nervous and shake in front of the class. I'd rather feel sick to my stomach over public speaking than over getting a B.

You guys are so lucky that you can get B's. I try and try and try but don't manage. 86% is amazing! Wowzers! I am so envious!!!!!

Hi Gee,
I know a B is not failing, I just can't change my mindset that anything less than an A means I'm either not smart enough or not trying hard enough.
I told my T that a B is an F with curves. I know, I am too hard on myself. I don't know how to change that mindset either. Four years of therapy later...

Poet? I want you to know I like you just as much as I did before you disclosed your shame. Which is quite a lot.
